SUMMER!

Why my life is awesome:

• Done with APs
• Done with SAT-IIs (for now. Although I got the scores yesterday, and uh... my USH score is mediocre while my Spanish is horrendous. But let's refain from dwelling on the negative ;))
• Done with Finals
• I'm now 17...?
• DONE WITH JUNIOR YEAR
• Summer Break!

Our school's graduation ceremony was today, and while I'm sad to see all of my senior friends go I'm glad that they get to go out and experience the world. I'm also looking forward to next school year, because while it's going to be ridiculously busy [president of senior class and litmag, copresident of key club, lunch Greek class, cross country, soccer, 4 APs... and of course college apps, boo] it'll be work that I mostly enjoy doing.

Can I just say:

Summer before senior year? Yeah, this break will be awesome.

I have two weeks before I'll be taking an intensive introductory Japanese class (it's a graduate level course, and I'll be spending 4.5 hours every day with only 3 or 4 people I think - so either it'll be an absolutely amazing or absolutely awful experience depending on who the people are... I guess we'll see). In the meantime I'm gonna try to catch up on some movies I've been meaning to check out, get a head start on the summer reading, and SLEEP.

...I'll also try to actually get some of those posts for this blog that I've started but never quite got around to finishing. Wish me luck.
